Refund and Returns Policy

Last Updated: 17 September 2026

THE EXIM TIMES (“THE EXIM TIMES”, “TET”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides trade-media, publishing, trade-show and business-related services.

This Refund and Returns Policy explains the general terms applicable to payments made for services offered through THE EXIM TIMES.

1. GENERAL POLICY

Because many of our services involve customised editorial, publishing, promotional, business-support or coordination work, refunds are handled according to the nature and stage of the service.

Before making payment, customers should review the service description, scope, deliverables, timelines and applicable commercial terms.

Where a specific service has separate refund or cancellation terms, those terms will apply to that service.

2. PUBLISHING SERVICES

Publishing services may include:

  • Publish Your Business
  • Publish Your Product
  • Publish Your Trade Show
  • Publish Your Press Release
  • Publish Your Success Story
  • Publish Your Brand Story
  • Company profiles
  • Product stories
  • Interviews
  • Other agreed publication services

Once work has commenced, including content preparation, editing, design, scheduling or publication, the payment may generally be non-refundable because the service involves work specifically undertaken for the customer.

If a publication request is cancelled before work has commenced, any refund will be considered based on the circumstances and applicable service terms.

3. TRADE SHOW SERVICES

Trade-show related services may include participation assistance, booth or stall-related services, product presentation, media coverage, B2B meeting support and other agreed services.

Refund and cancellation terms may vary depending on:

  • The service requested
  • Whether work has commenced
  • Third-party commitments
  • Event dates
  • Vendor or organiser terms
  • Costs already incurred

Where a service involves a third-party provider, organiser, vendor or other external party, their applicable cancellation and refund terms may also apply.

4. TRADE MISSIONS AND DELEGATIONS

Trade missions, delegations, market visits and related participation opportunities may involve advance arrangements and third-party costs.

Cancellation and refund terms will depend on the specific programme and the terms communicated to the participant before payment.

Where third-party costs have already been committed or are non-refundable, those amounts may not be refundable.

5. B2B MEETINGS AND BUSINESS INTRODUCTIONS

For B2B meeting, business introduction or similar services, fees may relate to research, identification, coordination, communication and meeting arrangements.

Payment does not constitute a guarantee of:

  • A sale
  • A purchase order
  • A contract
  • A buyer
  • Business revenue
  • A specific commercial result

Once the agreed service work has commenced, fees may not be refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. MARKET ENTRY, MARKET EXPANSION AND BUSINESS SET-UP SERVICES

Market-entry, market-expansion and business set-up services may involve research, consultation, coordination, third-party communication or other customised work.

Refund eligibility will depend on the agreed scope and the stage at which the service is cancelled.

Third-party fees, government fees, professional fees, registration fees or other external costs may be subject to separate terms and may not be refundable.

7. DIGITAL CONTENT AND PUBLICATION

Digital publication, editorial features, company profiles, product showcases and similar services are generally customised services.

Once the agreed content has been prepared, approved, scheduled or published, the service may not be eligible for a refund.

If an error is attributable to THE EXIM TIMES, we may, depending on the circumstances, provide a reasonable correction or other appropriate remedy.

8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Some services may involve external service providers, event organisers, vendors or other third parties.

THE EXIM TIMES cannot guarantee the refund policies of third parties.

Where a customer has specifically requested a service involving a third party, the relevant third-party terms may apply to the applicable portion of the payment.

9. CANCELLATION REQUESTS

To request cancellation of a service, please contact THE EXIM TIMES as soon as possible using the official contact details provided on our website.

The request should include:

  • Customer name
  • Company name
  • Service purchased
  • Payment details or transaction reference
  • Reason for cancellation
  • Date of purchase

We will review the request based on the service, agreed scope and work already completed.

10. REFUND PROCESS

Where a refund is approved, it will generally be processed using the original payment method or another appropriate method agreed with the customer.

The time required for the refund to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the payment provider, bank or financial institution.

11. NON-REFUNDABLE SITUATIONS

A refund may not be available where:

  • The requested service has already been substantially completed
  • Content has already been prepared or published
  • Customised work has already been performed
  • Third-party costs have already been incurred
  • The customer fails to provide required information or materials
  • The customer changes their requirements after work has commenced
  • The service has been delivered according to the agreed scope
  • The customer does not achieve a desired commercial result

12. NO GUARANTEE OF BUSINESS RESULTS

THE EXIM TIMES provides media, publishing, participation, business-support and market-related services.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, our services do not guarantee:

  • Sales
  • Leads
  • Buyers
  • Orders
  • Revenue
  • Investment
  • Export contracts
  • Import contracts
  • Market-entry success
  • Business expansion

Commercial outcomes depend on many factors outside the control of THE EXIM TIMES.

13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

THE EXIM TIMES may update this Refund and Returns Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices or applicable requirements.

The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised Last Updated date.
